The Flat floor lamp is available in two versions of small or large size, with either one or two flat surfaces, i.e., a compact disc or a table top that doubles as a piece of furniture. In the double version, the smaller complementary disc captures light and reflects it onto the larger disc, creating a set of soft points of light that illuminate the space and the surface itself

Endowed with a strong geometric character, the LED lamp combines sculptural spheres and thin vertical lines that rise from an angled base. Delicate in design but with a precise graphic character, Flat embodies Iwasaki's signature aesthetic. Its minimalist form is of extreme functionality, as each disc accommodates and reflects light with its essential lines as if lit from within.

The light, reflected downward, creates a soft luminescence on the surface on which the lamp rests. The sharp straight lines and soft curves, typical of a treatise on applied geometry, create layers of light that exude sculptural elegance.
